Whether you look at it as work or makeup, they’re both the infrastructure you need to create something incredible. While that’s what we always plan to do at LimeLife, it’s what we’re focusing on going into this new year.

I recently found a random post on the internet about the difference between the words belief and trust. Which of these two words hold more meaning? Well, what I took away is that belief is the first part of trust. Belief is when you hope that something is going to happen to you, but trust is when you’re open to the outcome no matter what it is.
In My Shoes Monday: How I Stay Inspired
What I’m doing now is as far away from what I thought I would be doing as you could get. I was a science major who became a teacher who worked on websites who was a stay at home mom. I’ve done a lot of different things and at no point did I really want to be the head of a global company. If you ever asked me the probability of doing that, I’d have said almost zero. But dreams change and paths change and life changes. And what got me here is, as cheesy as it is to say this: a calling. There’s no other way to say it. And it inspired me then and it has continued to inspire me.

LimeLife would not be LimeLife without Margaret. When we were searching for a skin care line, my almost-sister Margaret was fighting Triple Negative Breast Cancer. At one point she said, "Michele, you cannot bring another skin care line into this world that has harmful ingredients. It is harming women."
